Things to do, No.2
Surfing is not just the preserve of cool teenagers with sunbleached hair and the ability to walk on water. We encourage all our guests to get wet, whether just borrowing or hiring a board, or boogie board, or booking in for lessons. We recommend Big Blue Surf School for one to one of group lessons.

We've been busy pulling together our guest welcome pack and have come up with our top twenty things to do when staying with us and having great fun illustrating them. We'll upload up a new thing to do every day - I'm just not sure we will be able to stop at 20!

Treehouse
Lots of fun has been happening this week as David and Jonny put the finishing touches to the new treehouse. I'll take some pics soon and post them. In the meantime here's the view from the main deck. Perfect spot for children to keep an eye on their parents, or the otherway around of course!

New website is now live
Our new website is now live!
Very exciting to see all the work come together. So many people who visited last year said that they thought the website didn't do our site justice, and to be honest we quite like that. We like to overdeliver to guests rather than promise a seventh shade of paradise that is only ever going to disappoint.
Anyway I still think the website steers to fact rather than fanciful fiction so we should still make our guests' day, but includes more information.
This weekend I have to draft up a Frequently Asked Questions section as this is something we've been asked for before.
Getting there....

2013 is here...
...gosh that went quick!
We've been busy working on our new website to get up and running for the new season. Bookings are coming in from old friends and new visitors.
Now I have to write a list or the lists I need to write. Hopefully though it will be work for other people to do not me... not sure that's going to happen.

Gosh it seems a long time since we opened the camp site for business back in June.
Now September is here which remains our favourite month. The children are back to school so the frantic days of August behind us. The sea is at its warmest and the roads are blissfully empty of the summer crowds.
The tents are fully booked this weekend but then there is plenty of room for people who want to come and join us and... relax.
